Access

Come to Sommières castle easily on foot or by car 

• The castle is recognisable by its 25-metre high tower and can be reached on foot through the shady shopping streets of the medieval town. Free car parks are available along the river Vidourle.
• Two parking spaces for persons with reduced mobility are to be found in Place des Canons (access via Chemin du Château Fort), close to the castle.
• New: the castle now has a car park within a few minutes on foot.  It is reached via Boulevard Ernest François—follow the 'Parking' signs.

The ticket office/entrance to the castle is located at the main entrance (gate), chemin du Château fort.

Animals are not allowed in the castle. Thank you for your comprehension.
